Daniel J. Berrios LMT CPT

Specializations: Fitness Instructor, Bootcamp, Kickboxing, Personal Training, Licensed Massage Therapist, Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Thai Massage, Prenatal Massage, Lymphatic Massage, Functional Patterns HF

Daniel has been a Personal Trainer for the past 23 years, specializing in Muscle toning, weight loss, endurance, agility and functional training. He has worked with the average working person to athletes. Daniel has been involved in competitive sports since he was a kid and still is, playing flag football, outdoor sports (snowboarding, paintball, hiking, running, obstacle course races). An active life is a healthy life! I lead by example!

As a New York State Licensed Massage Therapist for the past 14 years, Daniel has worked on people with many different pain patterns and injuries. He has taken over 14 continuing education courses specializing in treating hand and wrist injuries, foot and ankle injuries, neck and shoulder pain, manual lymphatic drainage, treating Sciatica and more. Daniel believes massage therapy to be very important to the health and function of your body. The reduction of pain and increased range of motion and circulation in the body helps you to perform better and enjoy life.

Liam

Specializes in: Tai Chi, Qigong, Yoga

Liam has been practicing and teaching Tai Chi, Qigong and Yoga more than 10 years. His goal is to offer his students the traditions, techniques, relaxation, and health that he has attained through Tai Chi, Qigong, and Yoga. Liam is a certified Tai Chi instructor by Master Jesse Tsao (12th Generation Chen style lineage) of Tai Chi Health Ways. Liam is a certified Qigong instructor by Master Tina Zhang of Wu Tang Physical Culture Association. He is also a certified Yoga instructor.

He is currently studying Chen Tai Chi with Master Yan Yu.

Talia

Specializes in: Zumba®

As a former salsa dancer with a passion for exploring the world through dance, Talia’s love for Zumba® was inevitable. Through her high energy classes with authentic Latin flavor, Talia merges her diverse dance training and immersive experiences overseas with her background as a swim coach and long-distance athlete. A licensed Zumba® instructor since 2010, Talia is passionate about giving her students an open floor to celebrate fitness, confidence, community, and a whole lot of hip shaking.


Adriana

Specializes in: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Shiatsu Massage

Adriana is a LMT (licensed massage therapist) whose clientele are as versatile as her specialized modalities in massage therapy. They range from centurions to infants and from office workers to professional athletes. Her training and experience include Swedish Massage, Shiatsu, Thai Yoga Massage, Pre-natal and infant massage, myofascial/trigger point release and sports massage. Before becoming an LMT, Adriana was a professional ballet dancer for over 30 years who knew firsthand about injuries, rehabilitation and self-care. This sparked an interest in learning more about the healing arts. As a dance and early childhood physical ed instructor she is familiar with helping develop strength and flexibility in her students as well as recognizing their limits of range of motion. This led her to want to be trained in pre-natal and infant massage so that therapeutic touch can begin at the earliest stages of life.  Adriana’s lifelong journey is what has contributed to her professional and in tuned approach as an LMT.

Teresa

Specializes in: Barre Fitness, MAT Pilates

Teresa has always had a love for health and fitness. She holds a personal training certification from NASM and a Nutrition certification from ACE. She began studying ballet as an adult and discovered her love for Pilates and Barre. She enjoys working out with her students and guiding them through the various exercises so they can get the most of their workout. Teresa keeps her class fun and challenging to give you the best workout experience.


Emilie

Specializes in: Belly Dance

Emilie was born and raised in Nice, South of France. Her background is from Corsica, Poland and Kabylie. She fell in Love with Belly Dance at age 15 during a trip to Tunisia. Then started taking classes in Nice with a well known teacher. Few years later, she was working at diverse Top restaurants/clubs & private events all over the South of France and Monaco. She then moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting, and briefly joined a belly dance company. She is a member of SAG/AFTRA. Today, Emilie is based in New York and performs weekly at New York's top venues, restaurants and clubs.

Gabriella Gulfin is a professional mma fighter, a nogi pan am champion, 2x golden gloves champion & 2x amateur mma champion. In accordance to that she is a former yoga teacher and received her 200 & 500 RYT. She shifted directions when yoga put in her constant severe back pain, finding Functional Patterns and got certified as a Human Biomechanics Specialist. Using the FP method she corrects gait, and stacks joints in order to hydrate and leverage off the body’s truest potential in being unlimited. She works with everyone, from any age to ability. Her job is to teach others how to defend themselves, while managing anxiety and stress better by moving better soon.


Heather

SPECIALIZES: Group fitness, personal training

Heather is a NASM certified personal trainer and professional dancer. She began her training at the North Central School of Ballet, and continued at The Rock School of Dance Education, The Kirov Academy of Ballet in Washington, DC, and The University of North Texas. After completing her dance education she began performing professionally, taking her around the world with amazing opportunities in dance, acting, and opera. She has been teaching dance for 16 years to all ages and levels. With a solid base of health and fitness through dance, Heather found her way into the gym and fell in love with the community and what cross training in a variety of disciplines can do for you in pursuit of your goals. Using the knowledge gained throughout her career and education, she strives to create a safe environment, both mentally and physically, in all spaces. You can expect to be challenged on multiple levels in each class, while also building confidence and self efficacy in your workouts with the knowledge you will gain.
